My Stories

I've loved writing ever since I was very young, but I started writing fiction just a few years ago. I love creating contemporary romance stories with smart, sassy heroines and swoonworthy heroes. As someone with a disability, I never really saw any characters like me in books. Disabled characters were always the side characters or the “inspirational” characters, and I wanted to show that we are just like everyone else, living our lives, looking for our happily ever after.

I’m represented by the wonderful Eva Scalzo of Speilburg Literary Agency.

I have written several articles on Medium regarding the mismanagement and corruption of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I was an MDA client and volunteer all my life, but severed ties with them in 2017 after finding out donors and corporate sponsors were being deceived by the organization. Shortly after, news broke of their millions of dollars in gifts to the International Association of Fire Fighters and use of donor-restricted funds.

It’s very important to me that people know the truth about MDA, which is why I started this series of articles. They are updated as more news comes out.

You can find all of my articles here.
